Applied Statistics

In this project or assigment we used a dial caliber in order to measure the width of each little square we used. we found the mode, median, range and labled all of the cubes 1 through 27.
Thse cubes we used later on to creat our project the puzzle cube.

Puzzle Cube

Using the cubes from the Applied Statistics project we had to create a puzzle cubes. We sketched 3,4,5,and 6 combinations using our blocks.we had to follow as certain engineering process like Define Problem, Brainstorm, Select an Approach and so on which is inside our engineering journal. after that we start to put together the combinations of 3,4,5 and 6 in order to Make a Model or Prototype,  then we Communicate Processes and Results. after having a good idea of what combinations for example like what we were going to use and how we were going to build our cube, we began coloring the colors that corresponded and then glued everything the way it suppose to be. Then we record all our process and steps in the engineering notebook and answer the conclusion questions.

Multiview Drawing

Multiview drawings is basically trying to convert the oblique objects into the top, right, and side views. In this packet we basically practiced drawing, and sketching this object in top, right, and side view.

Sketching Techniques

This is an isometric sketch, it showes the side views and how it is suppose to look when drawn. This was our first sketching technique that we had to learn before we could master oblique, and perspective.

The perspective drawings was about the object being pulled out from differernt angles. Theres different types of perspective drawings like, one point perspective, two point perspective, and three point perspective.

History Of Measurement

In this project called "History of Measurement" I worked with Kaitlyn Nogueira and Dayana Roldan. We worked as a team in order to find out answer to certain questions like, "According to archeologists records, which civilizations were the first to record measurements?" or also "For what reasons did the French academy of science create the metric system?" Not only did we do a power point for these questions but we also worked on a CD cover where we tried to involve measurement and  make it as creative as possible. This project was all about how measurement was discovered and who were the main people that worked on it.

The Evolution Of Mechanical Clocks

Another evolution that Dayana Roldan and I worked on was "The Evolution Of Clocks". What we did was started with the first mechanical clock and described how it was made, the materials used, who invented it, how it's used today, the benifits, and how we would recreate this item.

In our notebooks what we did was write down our sources and where we found it. We also had to complete the conclusion questions that related to this invention.

CONCLUSION QUESTIONS.

Beverage Container

In engineering class i worked with Dayana Roldon. We had to enovated an ordinary cup and make it better. It shows how our cup would be designed and how it would work.It also shows the accessories that would be included. Our cup would hold up to four items and it wont spill or drop.

This poduct has a divider that can be taken out and you can mix what ever you have in the cup together. It also has a lid that is divided into four sections and  if you dont want to use one side you can use the other without spilling anything.
